ANDREJ GRONAU creates ready-to-wear that reconnects with the nostalgic dream of childhood. The German multidisciplinary artist and designer launched his eponymous line in 2021 as an extension of his Central Saint Martins MA Fashion graduate collection. 
Aware of fashion’s role as a signifier of identity, Gronau seeks an alternative to stereotypes with playful shapes and gender-fluid silhouettes. Merino wool knits feature graphic patterns in all shades of the rainbow, while balloon sleeves and calfskin boots with star-shaped cutouts radiate “The Wizard of Oz”-like fantasy.
